Background

James Redmond is a trial and appellate attorney with over 44 years of experience. He represents individuals and corporations in state and federal courts. He litigates cases in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Jim handles a variety of matters including criminal law, mediation, insurance defense, commercial, construction disputes, personal injury, professional malpractice defense, and divorce and family law. 

Prior to joining the Heidman Law Firm, he served as Law Clerk for Justice Connor T. Hansen, Wisconsin Supreme Court. Jim lives with his wife in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota and enjoys bicycling, boating and taking his Harley Davidson to Sturgis.
